Today we announced $6.5 million Series A funding round led by Greycroft Partners with significant participation from Zetta Venture Partners and Origin Ventures.
These funds are helping us to improve on the new EventBoard platform, with more features that empower our customers’ creation of a more productive and happier digital workplace.
To put it another way, we want to help your employees get their work done, and removing the hurdles that get in the way of work ultimately makes everyone happier, from the employees themselves to management and stakeholders.
There are two aspects to achieving our vision. On one hand are user tools: we have become widely known for our conference room calendar displays; you can now see these in most every leading tech company in Silicon Valley, and now increasingly throughout the country.
On the other hand, we are now providing critical analytics and insights to the emerging workplace team – often made up of IT, Facilities, and even HR teams – about how and where their organization is really working ... or not working at all. We provide these teams with the tools and technology they need to empower their coworkers – the end users – to work more efficiently, effectively and productively.
As the goals of your business evolve to focus more strongly on optimizing resources and collaboration, we want to be right there with you. With the broader approach we’re taking with our platform, we will be positioned to help you improve the interactions of people, places and technology within your organization.
The end goal is a more effective use of resources and greater job satisfaction for employees. We’d also like to give a shout out to our investors and team members for helping us grow. Just a couple years ago, we were a tiny, 5-person tech company in a 100-year-old former candy factory in downtown Salt Lake City. Now we have more than 1,100 customers from all over the world.
