13 Workplace Analytics Every IT Leader Should Track

There’s a new privacy option for the meeting title on the EventBoard conference room displays. In the past, you could either show the exact meeting title, i.e. “Review new email designs,” or make it totally private, i.e. “Reserved Meeting.”  The latter is adequate for privacy, but it caused some confusion when employees would show up to the room and not be able to determine if they were at the right place.

So we’ve added the option to show the meeting organizer in the meeting title field of the display, instead of “Reserved Meeting.” This way, attendees will recognize the room as the one they are supposed to be at, while still maintaining privacy.

This behavior will be echoed on Flightboard.

Note: In situations where we don’t know who the organizer is – if the meeting was booked last-minute from the display itself, for example – the display will default to showing “Reserved Meeting” as the title.
